About A.D. Elliott – Take the Back Roads

A person wearing a dark suit and sunglasses sits casually on a bright pink chair, blowing a large pink bubblegum bubble against a white brick wall, creating a playful and confident portrait.

About A.D. Elliott – Take the Back Roads

I’m A.D. Elliott, a writer and researcher devoted to documenting the lives of American service members whose stories deserve to be remembered in full.

Everyday Patriot began as a tribute to my own family’s service, but it has grown into an ongoing historical archive—one that seeks to preserve individual lives beyond rank, beyond headlines, and beyond statistics. Through careful research and narrative storytelling, I aim to honor not only acts of courage and sacrifice but also the ordinary humanity behind the uniform.

These essays exist so that remembrance is not abstract. They exist so that names are not forgotten.
